DWL (dual wall heat shrink) is a general purpose tubing which has a co-extruded adhesive layer inside. Its primary function is to provide environmental protection to cable joints while remaining flexible. Unlike thin wall, this tubing is 3:1 in shrink ratio thus requiring fewer sizes to cover your cable range. DWL conforms to Military Specifications and also comes in red on some sizes.
